As a Partner at NetService Ventures Group, Nader is focused on deal sourcing, incubation activities, and innovation consulting.
Nader is a Silicon Valley native and has a deep and broad network within the startup ecosystem. He actively cultivates relationships with entrepreneurs, VCs, and technologists to keep abreast of trends and to source deals for NSVG. In the incubation business, Nader is currently leading ShortForm.tv, an early stage venture that categorizes online videos into the equivalent of television channels and leverages content analysts to ensure video quality, relevancy, and popularity. In addition, Nader has worked with a mix of NSVG’s portfolio companies on specific efforts ranging from product marketing to business development.
In the innovation consulting business, Nader has worked with a leading knowledge management company and an established telecom company, playing the role of an entrepreneur for the clients and introducing to them innovations that could be disruptive to their business if not fully embraced.
Prior to joining NetService Ventures Group, Nader spent eight years at Intel Corporation and Intel Capital. In those years, Nader gained an in-depth and broad business foundation to prepare for a career in building successful global companies. Nader took on expanding operational and strategic leadership roles within the Technology Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, E-Business Solutions, Corporate Quality, Information Technology, and Venture Capital organizations. While at Intel Corporation, Nader focused his energy on intrapreneurial ventures that fueled his passion for driving change through entrepreneurship. His largest such endeavor was on enabling Intel's vast electronic data into a valuable corporate asset through data management breakthroughs that involved technical and process innovations across the company. Nader has also spent short stints at Quantum Corporation, Microsoft Corporation, and National Semiconductor.
Nader’s current areas of interest include the evolution of social media, mobile platforms/applications, online video, and the convergence of the 3 screens. Nader holds an MBA from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business, where he was a Haas Venture Fellow focused on entrepreneurship and venture capital. He completed his B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR) from UC Berkeley. Nader is also actively involved in his community, and is the Treasurer on the Board of the National Brain Tumor Society(NBTS).
