We started ShortForm.TV to solve this very problem.
ShortForm.TV brings you the best short video clips on the web, curated throughout the day. Pick a channel, lean back, and enjoy an endless playlist of videos. If you don’t like a video, simply skip ahead to the next video. We do the searching for you, so you can sit back an enjoy. We continuously scan the web for the best video clips as part of our “smart curation” process, which is 90% technology-driven, with a human curator driving the last 10%. Our technology continuously crawls the places where short videos exist on the Internet (YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, etc) and selects the best content – new or old. A ShortForm.tv curator defines the criteria for selecting videos and intervenes when necessary to discard content, modify where content is placed, or insert videos that were not picked up by the technology. Video clips are categorized into channels, including HaHa Funny, So Hollywood, Feel Good, Totally Weird, Super Cute, etc. ShortForm.tv’s playlist generator assembles clips from our content catalogue and scores each video based on available data for each video to select the clips we think our visitors will most enjoy.
We will allow our audience to curate and share their own channels as well! Audience curators will be able to compete to have their channels featured on the ShortForm.TV homepage, enabling personality-driven curated content to be shared with a broader audience.
